Fudge what you heard~!

People say New Yorkers are rude and just overall bad people. I being raised in NY don't think that's true, but I can see why an outsider would say so.
I was raised in Staten Island, so in some ways I didn't get the FULL feel of what the real New York is, save for when I went out with my friends and all that good stuff.
I now live in Brooklyn. I love this place. I can say it's the best borough to be in. Most of the people are very down to Earth and respectable, most of the people. Not all.
The real reason I'm doing this post is to tell you the reader about some acts of kindness I was graced with. The lass and I had to go pick up the remainder of our stuff from our old apartment. It was more than we thought. The cart we used ended up being mighty heavy and cumbersome. When I got to the J train stop, some random dude helped me lug the thing all the way up, yes up, the J train is above ground, up the stairs, and he wasn't even getting on the train~! Heading home, I was also helped by another random dude, down the stairs.
About 2 weeks later, I had to go pick up a table (it came boxed) from Target. It wasn't too hard to transport. I actually didn't need much help at all, but some teenager helped me carry it down the stairs at the cost of almost missing his train. He got it though, I would have felt horrible if he missed it. It was the G train too, he had to run all the way to the middle of the platform.
So yea, EFF what ya hUrrd shun~!!!!
